Ricarda’s AW13 showing at their Subiaco store this week was a feast of fashion! Hundreds of VIP customers sipped on Moet, whilst models casually sauntered through the crowd. It was a class act!

Owner, Ricarda Loecker, worked tirelessly behind the scenes, superbly styling the easy to wear, luxury outfits for him and her. International designer labels such as Isabel Marant, Comme des Garcons, Marc Jacobs, Alexander Wang and Australian labels, Josh Goot and bassike (crowd favourite) were showcased.

The cool, slouchy, leather bassike pants above, were a big hit. Josh Goot jacket and top and Camilla Skovgaard boots. Sports Luxe at its best…Ricarda Style!

My date for the Ricarda evening was ‘OshPosh’ Hair Salon owner Carleen Foley. Carleen is the ‘Queen of Cool’ and always nails her outfits!

Bright, colourful and fun were the order of the night for me! Sass & Bide gold jacket, Vintage Versace inspired tee, Camilla and Marc ripped jeans and Shakuhachi boots. Done!

Spotted in the crowd were ‘Beautiful Events’ Director Jacqui Brown and Kate Downie, Alicia Goyder and her mum Diana, Sabina Schlink and Damira Banaszak, and Brenda Loecker who co-ordinated the night.

Isabel Marant’s designs featured strongly. Pictured above, ‘folksy’ dresses, quilted, beaded bombers and embroidered jeans. Love, Love!

Trend Alert: Sports Luxe track pants and sneaker style. Think patterned, baggy and dropped crotch.

Mother's Day Classic 2013

Get your pink on for Mother’s Day! It’s time to celebrate fabbo mums.

As the sun shone, a sea of excited ‘pink’ mums, grans, aunties, daughters, toddlers, bubs in pink prams and even a few men, laughed and frolicked their way around the Esplanade in Perth, for the Mother’s Day 2013 Classic. It’s an exhilarating, ‘high on life’ thing to do… and it helps to know that all proceeds go towards Breast Cancer Research.

How To Get The Latest Sports Luxe Look!

The ‘Sports Luxe’ trend is perfect for Winter. We all love warm, comfy trackies, so let’s ‘test drive’ a few different pairs and dare to wear some AndAndrea kooky trackies as well!

Dropped crotch trackies are definitely ‘dare to wear and smile if they stare’ worthy. Not for everyone, but WILL be seen on the streets this season.

If you like, dress them up with a quilted leather bomber, chunky heels and…

kooky hair!!

Or, dress them down with thongs and a hip-tied denim jacket. So, you’re ready to give the Sports Luxe look a go?!! It’s easy if you follow the 4 simple steps below.

Step 1: Choose a comfy pair of trackies that YOU like. Such as these drawstring, Bassike trackies above. They come in cropped, 3/4 and full length.

Add a heel or biker boots (Above) as super Sydney Stylist, Jane Frosh from www.facebook.com/CoolEdies has done.

Step 2: Or, go all out and choose a pair of leather trackies. Elastic waist, boyfriend style, slouchy and HOT with boots! A standout look! My picks above, Shakuhachi (Centre) or Friend of Mine (L&R)

Step 3: Add a striped tee in blue, black or navy. Over-sized is preferable! Or, a ‘Team’ tee such as these LPD New York number tees above. Don’t forget to roll the sleeves! Keep a bomber or denim jacket on hand for warmth!

Step 4: Add a pair of Hi-top trainers. Isabel Marant started the world-wise craze. There are more affordable ones around now. Easy…you’re on trend and all set for Winter.

Trendy Trackies!!

An Aussie bush picnic is one of those simple, special things. So let’s go picnicking!

On a recent ‘Biker’ convoy road trip, we found ourselves at Noble Falls. It’s an hour out of Perth on Toodyay Road.

Tip: Pull on your comfy, bush walking sneakers and get the latest ‘Sports Luxe’ look happening. Trackies are trendy!! They’re a ‘Must Have’ item this season!! They’re tapered and slouchy and are perfect for picnics, parties or…anything!

After a ‘play’ on biker Geoff’s new toy, it was time to celebrate bush, picnic style!

It’s so easy if everyone brings something and it all gets muddled in the middle…pot luck style!! Compulsory tho… a bottle of Veuve (thank you Rhonda), a basket of olive bread and nibblies for starters. Cheers!!

Time to slip away and enjoy the tranquility of the bush, before the main BBQ feast begins! Wearing, Sports Luxe slouchy, 3/4 trackies and a muscle tee. Finally, trackies have come of age and are now ‘streetwear’ instead of ‘housewear’. They’re tapered, detailed and even come in leather.

Nothing beats a barbie in the bush…flies and all! Think BBQ’d Spicy King Prawns, Marinated Chicken, Roast Vege salad, Spinach salad, Rhubarb Tart (from Subi Famers Market), Macaroons, Fruit platter and Thermos coffee. Yummo!!

Homewares On The Strip... Bali Style

When it comes to homewares, Bali is ahead of the game! The Balinese are talented craftsmen and their wares are outstanding.

If it’s Homewares you’re after, take an empty suitcase! There are tempting treasures to be found. I’ve known of chandeliers and enormous silver Champagne Buckets to be lugged on board as “hand luggage”!!

There’s a fab little ‘Strip’ of homewares stores in Jalan Kayu Cendana, Seminyak (near Grocer & The Grind Cafe). HOBO is the STAR of this strip. Anna Pretty (ex Zara Home and Habitat) is the Creative Director and her worldwide experience ensures that HOBO stocks bespoke Balinese pieces. Stunning!!

Right next door to Hobo is ‘HOUSE of FEATHERS’. It’s a lifestyle collection inspired by spirit and a sense of freedom.

You’ll find a quirky mix of colourful, embroidered tablecloths, napkins, baskets, and nik-naks. Fabby Kim, (Above L) was staying at our hotel, The Royal Beach. She too knew about this groovy little homewares strip. We both goo-gaaad at the amazing products in-store.

Also on this Strip is Uma and Leopold ‘CASA’. A combo of casual clothes, handmade pottery, hand-painted cushions and unusual gift items.

Next up is Kody & Ko! Its a colour blast!

Full of funky, on trend items. Not to be missed.

Also next to Grocer and Grind Cafe is stunning, stylish and ever-fabulous VINOTTI LIVING. One of THE BEST Homewares stores in Bali.

From The Beach To The Boudoir... Bali Shopping

Bali truly is a paradise for shoppers! This AndAndrea shopping guide will cover everything from beach hawkers, to Designer Clearance ‘Pop-Up’ stores, to a secret Salon stocking exclusive Red Carpet gowns. So, lets go shopping…

It’s amazing what fabulous wares you’ll find being sold by the hawkers on the beach! From beautiful Lombok pearls and silver jewellery, made by ‘Johnny Silver’ (on the beach opposite Kumala Panthai Hotel), to beads, sarongs, hand-crafted wooden ornaments, sunglasses, watches and kites. Some treasured bargains can even be bought whilst multi-tasking! That is… eating a pineapple, having your toes painted and lying on a lol-a-bout, at the beach! Tip: A lot of what you see displayed beautifully in the shops in Seminyak, can be purchased for half the price, on the beach!

When shopping in Kuta, make a plan to go early. It’s cooler, cheaper (morning prices) and not so crazy busy! The footpaths are much improved, but still manic, so wear super comfy shoes! The markets and stalls are full of ‘Rhonda’s Mine’ singlets and dodgy goods. There ARE some very good buys, if you have the patience and love to barter! Tip: In Kuta, checkout the very popular, ‘Bagus’ (fixed prices) stores for watches, wallets and jewellery.

If heading up the main strip of Jalan Legian, pop into beautiful ‘BIASA’, for anything cotton. Try, ‘UMA EXTRA’ and ‘SABIA’ for fabby, casual, on trend pieces. Visit ‘FROM’ for quality loose tees. Try ‘ET Club’ or ‘ZABAGLIONE’ for beaded, pom-pom bags and ‘NUMERO’ for quality designer shoes and bags.Tip: Take a detour and wander along Double-Six (wholesale) Street. Look out for Aussie, ‘Margaret’ shop! For made to order leather pieces, then DOLPHIN Leather, off Padma St. in Garlic Lane is the place to go.

Once in Seminyak on Jalan Oberoi ( it’s also known as Jalan Laksmana) the shops are very upmarket. It’s the Rodeo Drive of Bali, so be prepared to pay more! Pop into JOY Jewellery (opp SHAKUHACHI) and remember take your old pieces from previous trips, for a complimentary clean. My necklaces (Above L) look brand spanking new now, after a free clean!

Do pop next door and say ‘Hi’ to the gals at ‘THE PRISONERS of ST PETERSBURG’! A funky little shop with Ksubi sunnies and unique accessories.

If you’re looking for dressier clothes, then ‘MAGALI PASCAL’, ‘LULU YASMINE’ and ‘UMA & LEOPOLD’ sell exquisite silks, classy dresses, flimsy tops and leather bustiers. Whilst the unique PAUL ROPP collection is bursting with colourful bohemian maxis and palazzo pants.

A Designer Clearance POP-Up store in Bali. WooHoo!! It’s called ‘ONE LOVE’ and it’s in Jalan Kayu Cendana off Jalan Oberoi. Think Shakuhachi, State of Georgia, House of Wilde, Follow, MLM, Bamboo Blonde and One Love Vintage. Some pieces are shop soiled or several seasons old, but there are some fab buys… if you have time to hunt thru the racks!

YESSSS, the one you’ve been waiting for! DON’T MISS the ‘it’ store on the strip…’DENIM’!! Full of groovy ‘Givenchy’ animal bombers, drool worthy tees and leopard studded loafers. Edgy sunnies as well. An AndAndrea MUST VISIT… just looking, just looking!

Finally, if it’s a Red Carpet, couture ball gown or wedding gown, or a stunning cocktail dress that you’re after, then the best kept SECRET in Bali is the ‘BEADED BOUDOIR’! Those who know, know! I visited Miss Sandra’s luxurious salon on a previous trip and was absolutely amazed at the one-on-one service and incredible range of stunning gowns. After calling and making an appointment, you will be given the villa’s address and it really is a WOW experience!! Plus, you’ll love her darling poodle collection too!

The food in Bali is sensational! Yum, Yum, Yum!!

From my fave English High-Tea at Biku, with owner Asri (above), to…

traditional Suckling Pig, at a little cafe near our hotel, in Dyana Pura. There truly is something for EVERYONE!!

Use this post as a foodie guide and think of me when you visit these tried and tested AndAndrea faves.

KUTA : KORI (Poppies Lane 11), UN’S (Poppies Lane 1)

LEGIAN : PEARL French Restaurant, PAPA’s Italian, ZANZIBAR, LANAI, COCOON, BLUE OCEAN, SEASIDE, QUEENS TANDOOR.

SEMINYAK :

ZULU : Vegetarian, casual, good value. Amazing little Vego joint in Dyana Pura! Always overflowing with customers! All the locals know it!!

BIKU : Voted best Bali Cafe in 2011. Owner Asri, moved to Bali from Sydney, over 25 years ago. FAB cafe with scrummy brekky, salads and burgers for lunch. Cake and coffee all day, High-Tea (THE BEST), Tarot Readings optional. Indonesian Nasi Goreng and satays or ‘homestyle’ dinners in the evening. The mango and passionfruit mini pavlova is a family delight. Casual vibe and great value. Love Biku! Do book! Don’t miss out.

W HOTEL: Mad Hatters inspired teaparty! Fabby waiters, death by cake! A holiday treat, even if you’re not staying at THE W, it’s WORTH A VISIT!!

LACALACA: New little Mexi joint. Happy, vibey, great value, fun, friendly casual place.

ULTIMO: Never fails! Every trip, takes me back to Ultimo. Home-style, Italian cooking. Great service, good value, good food and always buzzing. Ask to sit in the outdoor garden. Do book.

PETITENGET: Owned by two Aussies and has an alfresco garden and indoor glass ‘conservatorium’ if it’s raining. Delicious, popular and reasonable. Like, Like!

THE BISTROT: Moroccan owner, charming decor, great vibe. My first visit and would definitely return. Fab service and yummo food.

MAMA SAN: Spice sensation! ( Ask for less spice if you dont like a firey mouth!!) Value for money, as food is top notch, but not cheap! Try the roti.

SARDINE: A very, very special place! French owner, chef. Seafood lovers paradise. Duck to die for! Book ahead. Love, Love!

METIS: Extra special. Adore this place. Go early on a Friday at 5 o’clock for the VERY popular Happy Hour. Drinks are half price (around $5) and tasty tapas is complimentary! There’s a DJ and always a great crowd. A must!

YES, YES, YES…

On past trips I have eaten at all of the cafes listed below, but didn’t get to these on this trip. However, I would still strongly recommend… SARONG, LA LUCCIOLA, WARISAN and the H’UU BAR for dining delight.

POTATO HEAD for a sunset drinks, STARFISH BLOO at the W Hotel for Passionfruit Mojitos and tapas.

SEA CIRCUS (great for families), GROCER & GRIND (coffee, cake, rolls etc), CAFE SEMINYAK (coffee and juice), BALI DELI (coffee and snacks) THE JUNCTION and SOHO (newish and haven’t been to this one but heard good dinner reports!)

KU DE TA : Still LOVE this place! Fab brekky. Beautiful meals. Great to share tapas, a jug of Sangria and watch the sun go down.

ECHO BEACH, CANGGU:

On a Sunday arvo, try the seafood beach BBQ at Echo Beach or if you want a great cafe, of course its got to be, BETELNUT!!

‘It’s a wrap’ for foodies. There’s loads more places, but these are my faves. I haven’t listed the addresses, as ALL the Blue Taxi drivers know these spots!! Enjoy and please share this AndAndrea love with anyone who you know is going to Bali.

Easy Peasy Holiday Outfits...BaliStyle

Holiday outfits can be so tricky. If one key piece is missing, the whole outfit can be, sort of… blah!! The NUMBER ONE TIP is to PLAN your outfits! It’s worth investing the time beforehand so you won’t end up with a suitcase full of mismatched, unwanted bits and pieces! It’ll make holiday dressing a breeze. Here are some tried and tested AndAndrea tips to make holiday dressing speedy and easy peasy!

ESSENTIAL: Pack one pair of WHITE SHORTS. These CR cuffed, linen shorts are oldies, but still get packed on every single tropical trip. They team well with loose tees, are versatile and semi-dressy.

ESSENTIAL: Pack one DENIM SKIRT. Any length. Old, frayed or faded. Can be worn with an assortment of tops, over bathers, to brekky or shopping. No ironing and easy care.

ESSENTIAL: Pack one pair of DENIM SHORTS, several lightweight SCARVES and one TAN BELT.

OPTIONAL: Pack a VEST. This loose, cotton throw on vest is from LookFeelBe in Maylands. It’s lightweight and a perfect layering piece. It can be worn several different ways and comes in loads of colours.

OPTIONAL: Pack a pair of wide legged, PATIO PANTS and a few sparkly, DRESSY TOPS for drinkys and dinner. There are so many nice bars and cafes in Seminyak.

SHOES Tip: Comfy thongs and sandals for day, metallic flat sandals for evening. If heels are a must, then low wedges are the go! This time, one pair of ankle boots came along and were very handy for both day and night!

OPTIONAL: Pack a TUNIC. A wardrobe staple. It’s a casual dress that can be dressed up or down. Perfect if you go to KuDeTa for Sangria!! This one above is by Manning Cartell.

OPTIONAL: Pack a SPECIAL DRESS! Just in case you go to oolala, Metis!! This strappy Flannel dress, is mullet shaped (shorter at the front, longer at the back). It’s a lightweight, no iron, silk dress and can be thrown on in a jiffy.

So Lovelies… all of the clothes above are last season’s, or older. Many of you have seen them styled differently in past posts! My plan was to make the most of what I already own and not to buy much. Tip: Go hunting in your wardrobe before you buy new clothes to take away… You’ll be amazed at what lovely things you find hidden away!!

A Magical Bali Day

Let’s share a typical day of Bali magic… from sunrise to sunset!

Rise and shine. It’s beach time! On the way to the beach, take time to stop and appreciate the beauty of Bali.

A tradition! A new day begins with an early, 8km beach walk, EVERY, single, day! Time to relish the new day.

Tip: If you take old walking shoes, you can leave them for the beach ladies on the last day. They’re so grateful! Walking early is the key (7am at the latest). It’s cool and breezy with only the locals around. It’s best to wear loose, light fitting clothing and you’ll definitely need a water bottle. Afterwards… a pre-brekky dip in the pool is sensational.

Yummmm!! Brekky in Bali is the BEST! So, take the time to enjoy it! It should be long and lazy, every day. Start with freshly squeezed juice and obsess over Bircher muesli. Follow up with eggs any style, then grainy toast, coffee and a fruit platter. Well deserved after that big, long walk.

Pooltime! Spend the rest of the morning lazing.

Pack some mags, a good hat, old denim skirt and…

thong sandals!! These are so MUCH better than ‘flip-flop’ thongs on the pot-holed Bali streets. They’re made in Brazil by Grendene and are soooo comfy.

Afternoon delight time! Off to ‘Home Base’ Day Spa in Dyana Pura Street. Wearing light casual, Italian cheesecloth beach dress over bathers and thong sandals. Easy.

Tip: Find a clean, cheap and cheerful spa. A daily treatment is so indulgent.

Try a hair wash and blow-dry, foot massage and pedicure. Home Base charges approx $5-$8 per treatment, so it’s very affordable. For a real OTT Day Spa pamper, try ‘Prana’ or ‘Chill’ in Jalan Kunti.

Tip: Be prepared and take a dress with long sleeves, such as this Ellery shirt dress. It’s usually warm and balmy at night, but it was cooler and drizzly on this particular night.

Sunset drinks at Potato Head, Seminyak. Try a foaming Kookaburra. It really has WOW factor! Actually double WOW!!

Bali 2013... A Fanfare of Colour!

Bali is bursting with colour. There’s colour everywhere! It truly is spectacular and creates an instant happy vibe.

Colour pop beanbags and umbrellas are everywhere on the beach in Seminyak.

Festival style beach cafes are oozing with colour.

Beads and tassels on offer. Every colour of the rainbow. You buy? You buy?

Beach ladies hawking fluoro sarongs and brightly coloured pompoms.

Emerald green, manicured lawn. Lush!

Vibrant flowers abound.

Happy doors! Every villa door at our hotel was painted a different colour.

The markets and stores are overflowing with colour. Happy eyes!!

Pompom pouches. Every colour. Take your pick.

A kaleidoscope of tassels, for colourful keys.

Feast on shiny, red toffee apples and colourful cupcakes. Drool!

Swan around in a vibrant kaftan.

Sip on cocktails and watch a fireball orange sunset… Bali-Style.

Bali is my home away from home. I’ve been visiting Bali for over twenty years and have just spent another two weeks there. Many of you have been following my Instagram Bali photoboard. Life's A Party at Vinnies Retro

C’mon in. You’re gonna love Vinnies Retro.

There really is something for everyone at this Vinnies… even a ‘Kath and Kim’ 70’s style jacket (above). Loads of stock on sale too.

Wow! Andy Warhol inspired Vinnies entrance, at 267b William Street, Northbridge.

Hoot, hoot! Kyle, Michelle and Shelley (above centre) create a groovy, ‘party’ kinda vibe. Shelley’s been managing this store for over ten years and has a team of fab volunteers. The pick of the donations end up here, or at Freo Vinnies… Out of the two shops, this one’s my fave!

Polished floors, candy coloured walls, kitch visual merchandising and amazing stock. It’s a happy place.

Dress-ups, vintage, hipster, bohemian, hippy, streetwear, cool, daggy or whatever takes your fancy… there’s a sea of memories, on display and for sale.

Surprised? Some very impressive ‘current’ labels at Vinnies Retro and all at BARGAIN prices. Let’s get groovy and have some fun styling…

Passionate about coffee? If you’re like me and only have one a day…then its gotta be really, Really, REALLY…. GOOD coffee!

Coffee Geek, David above, originally from Korea, via Melbourne, takes his craft VERY seriously! He’s head Barista at my ‘local hang’ Boho Cafe, Scarborough Beach.

David’s delight, smooth and creamy. A work of art. Just heavenly!

Delivery…Perfect to wear to my local hang, or handy for a ‘Rushed Hair Day’.

Leather caps are trending right now! BEWARE…Some are better in quality and shape, than others!!! The one above, was purchased online, from a Tasmanian mother and daughter duo, who run ‘The Accessory Store’. It’s adjustable and is a great, snug fit (no lumps and bumps). It gets the AndAndrea thumbs up!

Being my ‘local hang’, Boho is all about dressing down. Casual chic, comfy gear, beachwear, holiday gear, walking gear, or shorts and Havaianas…dare to wear cos anything goes!!

An Asos muscle tee, zebra cardi, ripped shorts, black thongs (note emerald green pedi), Leona Edmiston bag and Joy Jewellery make an easy Boho Chic combo.

Time to getaway and retreat for Easter.

Laze on the jetty, whilst Miss Indi guards the gear!

Simple pleasures. Take a stroll…

…no fuss Army Style! Pull-on Siren boots, denim shorts, khaki canvas belt, leather cap and vintage ‘Army’ tee. Keep it simple, co-ordinated and no fuss.

Tip: Rolled sleeves are back. Double roll and secure with an over-stitch.

Pop on a hooded khaki bomber. The Autumn afternoons, get chilly.

Relax, rejuvinate…good times.

Style Me Khaki

‘Style Me Khaki’ in Combat Wear, Camo Wear or anything muddy green!

The sunshiny Autumn days of late, mean sass & bide army greens, shorts and ankle boots are still the go. An army jacket tied ‘hipster-style’ is handy, if the day cools.

A camo hoodie vest is an easy extra layer with jean shorts and a singlet. But as the weather cools…

…Style Me Khaki in a leather jacket (above). Leather is always a good investment. From the AndAndrea archives, this Arabella Ramsay leather jacket will always be a fave.

Snapped as she shopped, Claudia looks fab in the ‘It’ jacket of the season. The 3/4 Army jacket is the No.1 ‘Must Have’! Claudia added perfect layering pieces, a beanie and boho satchel. Nailed it!

Endless khaki options, above. A khaki C&M cap, khaki Siren boots, printed khaki skinnies (from Harry&Gretel) or an embellished jacket and Hi-Top sneakers from Pink Sky Online Boutique. Add a little or a lot!

A military dress… with edge! This dark khaki, ‘Zhivago’ shirt dress, features capped epaulettes. It’s just landed at Lost Souls Boutique, in Times Square, Claremont.

Tip: Be creative. Head to your nearest Army Disposal Store and purchase a camo shirt or khaki jacket. Next add studs, stars, badges, fringes or epaulettes, as you like. Or, cut the sleeves off, to make a vest. Or, create a patchwork ipad case (Above R). Remember… dare to wear and smile if they stare!!!

It’s time to take ACTION and give Combatstyle a go!

Heading to the hip new West Perth cafe, Gordon St. Garage, in a lightweight, tran-seasonal khaki jacket, Guess ripped shorts and Siren ‘Atone’ ankle boots.

The rear and side exterior walls of the original garage remain authentic.

Original loo too! Not for cafe patrons tho!!

Combat or Militarystyle is as easy as finding a khaki jacket and pairing it with jeans and boots! Voila, you’re instantly on trend! Gold and tan love Combatstyle. Tip: accessories such as gold chains or gold-rimmed sunglasses and a tan belt or bag complete the look.

Dont forget the nails…This ‘butter’ muddy brown tone worked well.

Good news! Combatstyle can be easily achieved on a budget!! This Italian polished cotton jacket above, was thrifted from Vinnies for $6.

Let’s head on inside…mmmn it feels like I’m in Melbourne!

Drip filtered coffee, fresh juices, feta and artichoke muffins and a hearty vegetarian feast…Yes, we consumed it all!!

A Progressive Shop-A-Thon At Times Square

Shopping and champers. Double delight!

Last night, Times Square, Avion Way, Claremont was all lit up party-style. It was a VIP Shopping Night and there were loads of special offers, coupled with bubbles and nibbles for all!

Time for an AndAndrea progressive Shop-a-Thon! Come join me…

The party started in ‘PoppyLand’. Designer, Poppy Lissiman has created her own ‘world’ within her Times Square store. It’s an eclectic mix of clothes and accessories, with a ‘hip’ bohemian feel. To celebrate in PoppyStyle, poochy came along too. Yes… I’m in ‘dare to wear’ AndAndrea heaven!

Time to move on. Next stop, Leona Edmiston. Kisses and hugs all round with my Leona gal pals, Renee and Kylie (Top L). Daisy (R) modelled an elegant, teal, wrap dress. Classic Leona. Look in the window! (Bottom). Two adorable, mini-manni’s, dressed in Little Leona.

The party at Times Square continues… time to glam up at Ruth Tarvydas’ new abode. Champers, tiaras, beaded gowns and cocktail dresses. Oo La Laaa!!

It’s Party Central next door, at Ten@Times Boutique. This store showcases ten of the best, new, W.A. designers, all under one roof. Here, you’ll find gorgeous dresses from Kim Barton, Rosie and Broken and Jomay Cao (Above). Leather goods from Sarah Zel Chescoe, Shoes by Zamora, Katherine Dunmill cuffs and collars, and bathers by Cebiche.

From shoes, to bags, bathers to dresses, cuffs to clutches, it’s all at Ten @Times Boutique.

YES! They are real!! The ‘live’ mannequins in every store or window were from Alpha Models. Bree and Tamsyn above, changed outfits and poses throughout the night and did a sensational job. Tamsyn (L) wears a Rosie and Broken dress. Bree (R) wears Kim Barton. Zamora shoes. Sarah Zel Chescoe clutch.

The party continues with designer Sarah Zel Chescoe at Ten@Times. She’s so passionate about her leather creations. Her pouches, bags and clutches are made from soft, kid leather and feature detachable tassels.

My Shop-A-Thon wound up at Recollections by Lost Souls. A book-shoe wall feature… now that’s different!

Lost Souls is an interesting combo. It’s like two stores in one! On one side, you’ll find high-end recycled, designer clothes and leather goods from Recollections Boutique. On the other side you’ll find edgy, WA labels such as, Zhivago and Ange Lang.

Caitlin (Above) models a Zhivago tunic, featuring their signature statement shoulders.

So much fun… but the party’s over and it’s time for these lil Miss Leona’s to head on home. Do pop down to Times Square, Avion Way, Claremont for a fab shopping experience and a Lemon Lane cuppa.

Emerald Green... Pantone Colour Of The Year 2013

Emerald green is trending right now. Its been voted ‘Colour of the Year’ for 2013. So, in honour of St Pat’s Day today, green gets centre stage!

To celebrate St Pat’s Day, a little Angove Street brekky was in order. These Tluxe emerald green harems (above) were a special gift from Darlene and the gals at Style Palace. They’re comfy, lightweight, t-shirt material and have become a wardrobe staple.

Emerald green has snuck into some recent AndAndrea posts. It’s such a vibrant, happy colour and works especially well with black and white.

Some stand-out green inspiration above. Dress green up. Try print mixing, tonal shades of green (L). Clash tiny checks, with bold stripes to add kerpow!! Or, to create that luxe look for evening, flaunt metallic green (Top). Alternatively, for an ever-so stylish Pippa Middleton look, try a double-breasted blazer (Bottom). The ideas are endless.

Edgy green is for the confident dresser! Join the Kenzo Kraze and splurge on a Kenzo Tiger Sweater. Those around you will be ‘green’ with envy!! Try clashing textures such as chunky knits or fine silks with ripped denim. Finish off with a statement choker.

Inspiration above, to add a tiny touch. Lips, nails, eyes or hair. Love the green braids!
